Saint Ber|nard «buhr NAHRD»,
one of a breed of big, red-and-white dogs with large heads. These intelligent, powerful dogs were first bred by the monks at the hospice of Great St. Bernard, a pass in the Swiss Alps, to rescue travelers lost in the snow. Also, St. Bernard.
